Music

"I find that music makes people just sit and listen, firstly. Then, they seem to interpret their own emotions with the music and it makes them ponder their own life a lot. And then they start to question: Am I happy in my work? Am I happy in my relationships? What am I striving for?"

-Enya

"If you're in the middle of the ocean with no flippers and no life preserver and you hear a helicopter, this is music. You have to adjust to your needs at the moment."

-Tom Waits

"Same with anyone who's been flying for years and loves it still... we're part of a world we deeply love. Just as musicians feel about scores and melodies, dancers about the steps and flow of music, so we're one with the principle of flight, the magic of being aloft in the wind!"

-Richard Bach

Music is essential. When you engage in any kind of transformative movement music helps pave the way - It is birdsong while walking in the woods, It is a gentle rain while taking a nap. The New Forest® Arts are holographic in nature, from whatever perspective you choose to view your connection to life - the rest of your life also resides. I have not included music in the classes and videos for the main reason that not everyone likes the same music .

Music can engender feelings that combined with the qigong can move you further into the beauty of the moment. Music can be mystical  - connecting us to realms we did not even know existed. Here are a few playlists from my Spotify Playlists that I use to get you started. There is a lot of fun to be had creating your own playlists. I have playlists for different arts to accommodate the conversation that I have within the art. So when you are watching the classes, if you have another device, you can start with these playlists.
